The bill has not
yet been approved by the Security Council of Iran. Shadi Sadar, a human rights
lawyer for the London-based group Justice of Iran, told The Guardian, "The
bill is a form of legalizing sexual exploitation of children.
Marrying an adopted daughter is not a part of Iranian culture. Iran has many immoral things like other countries, but the bill is similar to abolishing crimes against children in Iran. If the father is having sex with his adopted daughter, it is rape. "
Speaking on the bill, Shiva Dolatabadi, the head of an organization fighting for child rights in Iran, said he feared it would increase the number of juvenile offenses. In such a situation, children say that they will not feel safe in their family.

In Islamic
countries, girls above the age of 6 can marry with the consent of their father.
So for children it is 5 years of age. If the girl is under six years of age, it
is necessary to obtain the consent of the judge for her marriage. About 3,000
children have been married in Iran in 5 to 8 years. According to the Iranian
website Tabanak, only 4 children under
the age of 6 are married in Tehran.

In Jalpaiguri
district of West Bengal, a person broke all the limitations and married his
real daughter and got her pregnant too. Not only this, he has been saying to
justify that this relationship has the approval of God.
The most amazing thing
is that no one else was witness to this marriage, the mother of the girl and
the wife of that person. A tense situation has arisen in the surrounding area
regarding this incident.
Afzuddin Ali, a
resident of Kasaizhora village in Jalpaiguri, had hidden his marriage to his
daughter from the villagers, so no one came to know about it at that time. Now
after six months, the girl has become pregnant and it is being discussed
everywhere.
This issue has
caused tension in the village and people are even talking about attacking this
family. Afraid of worsening the atmosphere, the police arrested Afzuddin, his
wife Sakina and 15-year-old daughter. All three were produced in the SDO court but
they had to release these people as criminal cases do not come under their
jurisdiction.
